Reaction Engines wins Best Use of Tech Award at Southern Tech 150
Reaction Engines won the prestigious Best Use of Tech Award at The Business Magazine’s Southern Tech 150 Awards last night.

This annual event, now in its twelfth year, celebrates the leading 150 tech companies in the southern region and recognises outstanding achievements across four categories: Innovation, Employer of the Year, Best Use of Tech, and Business Leader of the Year.

The Best Use of Tech Award was sponsored by Morgan Lovell and recognises exceptional use of technology to advance company objectives, improve communities or empower clients.

The judges had this to say about Reaction Engines: “Reaction Engines’ focus on technology has been a game-changer for organisations, where they simply cannot advance their business goals without the use of this company’s product. Furthermore, their focus on low carbon and how they can convert waste heat to generate more power brought their focus on sustainable technology solutions to the fore.”

Upon winning the Best Use of Tech Award, Marc Arstall, Chief Technology Officer for Applied Technologies said: “SABRE-derived technologies provide a step-change in performance, efficiency and sustainability across multiple industries. From capturing and reusing waste heat in energy production processes to decarbonising aviation through innovative thermal management solutions, our technology is pushing the boundaries of what is possible in engineering. Our team of dedicated engineers are passionate about developing truly transformative technology that promote sustainability and underpins Net Zero targets.”
