Reaction Engines is delighted to have been awarded the Ministry of Defence Employer Recognition Scheme Silver Award 2024.

Launched in 2014, the Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) recognises employer support for the wider principles of the Armed Forces Covenant. Signatories of the Armed Forces Covenant, who pledge, demonstrate or advocate support to defence and the armed forces community, may be awarded bronze, silver and gold awards in accordance with the level of support provided.

The Armed Forces Covenant is a promise from the nation that those who serve or have served in the Armed Forces and their families are treated fairly. For most of the Armed Forces community, the Covenant is about removing disadvantage; so that they have the same access to services as the civilian community.

The award was presented to Chief People Officer, Lisa Rudzki and Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Manager, Claire Farrow on Wednesday 4th September at Admiralty House, HMNB Portsmouth, by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Hampshire, Mr Nigel Atkinson.

On receiving the award, Reaction Engines’ Chief People Officer, Lisa Rudzki, said: “It is a great privilege and honour to have been selected as one of 24 silver award recipients across the Southeast. This is recognition of our commitment to all our people, current and future, ensuring Reaction Engines is inclusive and a great place to work.
