The major advancements within the new ISO standard centre around risk awareness and implementing activities to manage and mitigate identified risks. Through the use of a Plan -> Do -> Check -> Act approach, companies are enabled to measure, manage and improve their operational performance.
Due to the teamwork and commitment of the entire Reaction Engines’ QA team, the audit was passed with no major or minor faults identified and no ‘opportunities for improvements’ noted on the certifying report.
The new certificate encompasses both Manufacturing Solutions’ fabrication and precision machining capabilities; previously Crossman Engineering and Brite Precision held separate approvals. The task of integrating both the previous QA systems into a single unified system was the responsibility of Emma Pike, Manufacturing Solutions’ QA and H&S Manager.
Emma was supported by Hannah Carter in completing all the required documentation and producing the operational process flow diagrams to an exacting standard.
Manufacturing Solutions is proud to have received this certification which demonstrates Reaction Engines’ continuous effort to improve quality and performance.
